But let me explain in simple terms, and you will understand what I am talking about, and it will make sense to you, don't worry. What do 'hypnagogic' and 'hypnopompic states' mean? These words sound so complex, but their meanings are simple and relatable to most of us. Hypnagogic means the dreamlike experiences we sometimes feel when we are in a transition state from wakefulness to sleep. It might be a falling sensation or a floating sensation, but only when we are transitioning from wake mode to sleep mode.
